Okay, so you're dressed head to toe in this seasons hottest trends, BUT now you need to make sure your nails aren't missing out too. The Spring/Summer catwalk showcased some gorgeous new nail styles that you can try out for yourself. From re-vamped manicures to geometric designs, this seasons trends really allow you to experiment and make your nails a talking point.

Be square:

Nails decorated with geometric shapes, more specifically circles and squares were shown on many catwalks including Jeremy Scott. For a bold look, choose contrasting colours like a gorgeous cherry red against an aqua blue hue. The overall look gives a retro vibe, perfect for pairing with your 70's and 80's influenced clothing.

 Different strokes:

If you're an artistic type, the perfect trend for you to replicate is the negative space nail. The great thing about this design is that you can be as expressive as you want, each nail can be completely different. Simply choose a white polish for a minimal look or bold coloured varnish if your feeling brave. Then you can start to make freehand strokes on each nail. If you're a perfectionist, go for the the re-vamped manicure with slanted white tips.

The line up:

This summer, stay away from the standard, single coat of lacquer. This season its all about non-uniform nails. Pick your five favourite bright colours and go for a mix and match alternate design or go for rainbow stripes. For nail inspiration look to Opening Ceremony.

If you're looking for something a little different and eye catching, why not try cuticle nail art? Simply line the cuticle of the nail with a delicate glitter polish a la Rodarte or alternatively go for a bolder solid shade. This look is perfect if you want an easy, low maintenance style that is just as on trend as the others.

At first blush:

Sounds crazy we know but one of this seasons hottest trends is making your nails appear as if they're blushing. Okay let us explain...this trend is influenced from the very feminine and delicate makeup looks of Asia. All you need to do is grab a soft peach or coral nail varnish and place in the center of the nail.
